MEET ANDREA

Board Member

While working as the Executive Director for the Kensington Valley Area Chamber of Commerce, Andrea had a chance meeting with Sparrow Freedom Project Founder, Anita Hoepner. Andrea was deeply moved by Anita’s courage and dedication as she worked to bring emergency assistance, safety and basic dignity to so many who have become trapped inside the world of human trafficking. Andrea vowed to get involved.

During college, Andrea narrowly escaped a kidnapping while on school break in Washington D.C. After being held and attacked for a day, she escaped with her life. As a result, she possesses an unbridled desire to protect other humans from being forced, trapped or coerced into any situation that does not bring peace to the human soul.

Post college, Andrea moved to the coast of Maine before she returned to launch a career working in managerial and executive positions for a variety of non-profit organizations such as The March of Dimes, City of Hope, the American Lung Association, the Great Lakes Zoological Society and local Chamber of Commerce.

In 2017, Andrea and her husband took a leap of faith and launched Lakes Electric, a local electrical business, which grew very rapidly.

Andrea has a reputation for removing productivity barriers by proactively managing complex business operations, creating growth strategies, and implementing initiatives

designed to enhance team performance and productivity.

Throughout her career, she has been an enthusiastic leader possessing the capacity to drive teams and empower passion, by encouraging high performance. Her preference is always to be enmeshed within a positive company culture driven by relationships, accountability, connection, and results.

Andrea loves nature, the outdoors, bodies of water, traveling, music of all kinds and her friends and family.

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ferris State University.
